Anyone watching Democratic Party presidential nominee Hillary Clinton can clearly see that she has experienced health issues. Consider the chronic coughing fits at her rallies.
Consider the photos we’ve all seen of Clinton being helped up a short flight of stairs with men on either side of her helping her up. Consider the fainting spell Clinton experienced at the 9/11 Memorial last month.
Now emails are suggesting that Clinton’s health issues may have been going on for a lot longer than at first thought.
Citizens United has released emails obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request. One 2009 email exchange in particular raises concerns about Clinton’s health. Longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin wrote to Clinton Global Initiative (GCI) staff in preparation for a public address.
In that email, written from Abedin’s official State Department email address, she wrote that Clinton “won’t be able to give [the speech] in the round like [Bill Clinton] does walking around with a microphone. Are we able to set it up so she’s speaking at a podium?”
Ed Hughes, a CGI staffer, replied that there would be a table that Clinton could use but that the room was oriented “in the round” with the audience all around Clinton. But Abedin continued to express concern and asked that the room arrangement be adjusted so that only half of the room would include an audience.
Lifezette pointed out that “the exchange suggests that Clinton not only may have trouble physically walking around a stage, but also some trouble focusing with the presence of a crowd behind her.”
One of the key topics scheduled to be discussed at Wednesday night’s final presidential debate is fitness to be president. Hillary Clinton’s fitness most definitely should be seriously evaluated. Recent emails leaked from WikiLeaks of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta repeatedly illustrate a pattern of corruption on the part of Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, and quid pro quos between the FBI and high end donors, both foreign and domestic.
Then there’s the private email server scandal that Clinton kept in her New York home, unsecured with more than 30,000 emails deleted. We must also consider the pattern of clear health issues that Clinton has faced. This latest email makes it clear that Clinton’s health issues go back much farther than her recent reported bout of pneumonia.
