Americans and people across the world have needed to be vigilant of potential attacks, especially since 9/11.
Aside from the United States, attacks in Spain, London and France have kept our European friends on their toes as well.
Now another attack in Europe has everyone on edge.
On Monday evening, just after 2 pm Eastern Time, a truck crashed into a popular shopping market in Berlin, Germany. Sky News has the details:
Officers say at least one person is dead while some reports say two have been killed.
Also, dozens of people are thought to have been injured.
Officers say early indications point to it being an attack, according to reports.
The truck ran into the market outside the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the Berliner Zeitung newspaper and the Berliner Morgenpost said.
The Daily Star of Lebanon notes that “It was not clear why the truck veered off the road into the market.”
Here is some video from the scene followed by reaction:

Though it is not yet clear what the motive of the attack was, people are drawing their own conclusions:
@2_srippe another attack just happened in Berlin as we were talking. Not 100% but likely Islamic terrorism.
