As 2016 comes to an end, we all engage in the time-honored tradition of reflecting on the year that has passed and looking forward to a new, and hopefully better, year ahead. Looking back on this year’s election season and all the controversy it entailed can be exhausting. For some, especially liberals who were disappointed with the election results, the new year may be a source of anxiety.
Canadian comedian and former “Saturday Night Live” star Norm MacDonald has offered his own insights to help us put it all in perspective. In his own witty style MacDonald tweeted his observations of the American election season.
The Republicans have been making this mistake for a long time. It was Dole's turn, he had the political chits, and so he ran.
