Get ready for another gloom and doom, “the sky is falling” outcry from the doomsday leftists of the world.
According to environmentalists and their liberal enablers, humans are devastating the earth and will ruin our water and land while ultimately killing us all. Climate change – global warming – is the result of human activity, they cry out, and must be stopped.
What the “scientific community” won’t tell you is any scientist of worth knows that humans can be eradicated from the earth and global warming will continue. It’s a natural occurrence forced upon the planet by natural elements within this tiny part of the universe.
The previous president’s administration reveled in this doom and gloom hysteria. His appeasement of foreign influence placed the United States in a position where ultimately, as usual, American taxpayers will fund a scientific hysteria to appease nations always milking the US for money.
Blackmailing American taxpayers with global warming hysteria will end with another executive action from President Donald Trump.
One of President Trump’s former aides said Monday the US will pull out of the landmark Paris climate pact within the coming “days,” reported Fox News.
Myron Ebell, who helped the Trump administration’s Environmental Protection Agency transition, told reporters that Trump was “determined” to undo Barack Obama’s climate change initiatives.
“I expect Donald Trump to be very assiduous in keeping his promises, despite all of the flack he is going to get from his opponents,” Ebell said, according to London’s The Independent. “There are multiple ways and I have no idea of the timing.”
Ebell, a climate change skeptic, helped review the EPA’s work during the Trump transition.
The U.S. is one of 194 countries who signed the Paris climate agreement in April 2016,” Ebell said. “The pact aimed to “stabilize greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system.”
Trump railed against climate change theorists during his campaign, but has since said he will keep an open mind. His selection for secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, has said the US should remain in the Paris agreement to be a part of any discussions there.
Ebell said Tillerson would lose the fight over leaving the Paris agreement.
Pulling out of the Paris deal might be the more difficult route. A Trump transition official told Reuters last year the administration could opt to pull out of the 1992 parent treaty of the deal – which would void US involvement in both agreements.
European Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic, who helped broker the Paris agreement, told Reuters he hoped Trump would agree to keep the US in the deal.
“If the (U.S) administration decides to go in a different direction, I think sooner or later they will have to come back to the realization that climate change is happening,” Sefcovic said.
Any country that leaves the Paris deal would have to wait four years to return.
Trump is doing what he promised – slamming the brakes on any policies, politics or foreign deals that put the US government at odds with bolstering the American people and economy.
The same “scientific community” promoting global warming is just like their cohorts and, get this, the mainstream media crying out just a few decades ago that the earth was rapidly approaching a global freeze by the turn of the century. (Search for “global freeze 1970s.)
No polar ice caps pushed their way into the Midwest as was the dire prediction.
Trump promotes jobs and energy, and all else becomes background noise. America’s needs are the top concerns while the world can find a new funding source for its scientific hysteria.
