Liberal politicians, like their leftist Hollywood allies, love to live it up before the cameras. Every photo opp is a chance for them to rub off on the world.
They also like to buddy-up up to promote liberal values and blame conservatives for everything wrong in the world. One high-profile bromance is between President Obama and Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
They’ve been palling around for years, laughing their way along the liberal road to decimate the social and economic structures of their respective countries. It’s a relationship both have claimed is one that makes them proud.
Trudeau may not be laughing much longer as he’s under investigation for ethics violations by his own government. From the Associated Press:
Canadian ethics commissioner Mary Dawson said Trudeau may have violated the federal ethics code during his holiday with the Aga Khan, a family friend, philanthropist and hereditary spiritual leader to the world’s approximately 15 million Ismaili Muslims.
It’s the first time the ethics commissioner has opted to investigate the actions of a sitting prime minister.
A complaint was filed by opposition lawmakers and others. The investigation covers Trudeau’s stay at the island and his use of the Aga Khan’s private helicopter to get there.
The vacation included Trudeau, his family, Liberal lawmaker Seamus O’Regan and Liberal party president Anna Gainey, all of whom took part in the chopper flight from Nassau to get to the secluded island.
Here’s a report from CBC’s “The National” with host Peter Mansbridge:
Of course, Trudeau claims the privately funded trip with his “friend” was all above board.
Liberals love to flaunt their status to others and laugh in the face of rules and regulations that govern them. They believe they are above others and can do what they want. Illegal to them is relative term
It’s time liberals were held accountable to the same standards as everyone. Hopefully, Canada’s ethics authority will show how Trudeau is nothing special. He’s just another life-long politician with a selfish agenda who’s using his position for power, influence and self-gain.
