Trump Just Got A Legend Backing Him On Fake Russia Memo…Media Freaks Out!

Politics in America has a dirty history extending back generations and US intelligence agencies get caught in one scandal after another.

It’s not a matter of if there will be another political or intelligence scandal, but when.

The latest scandal rocking the US is ongoing as intelligence agencies under the current presidential administration won’t put to rest false accusations against President-elect Donald Trump.

Lies about Trump are circulating from the highest levels of government. One old-school journalist with a reputation for breaking open scandals is calling for accountability from US officials.

Trump thanked Bob Woodward for saying that he’s right to be upset about that “garbage” intelligence dossier that consumed the public’s attention last week.

The famed Washington Post reporter said on Fox News Sunday that Trump’s point of view is being “underreported” here, especially when elements of the intel community “started this.”

Watch Woodward here:

Woodward, famous for breaking the Watergate scandal under President Richard Nixon, attacked the dossier released last week by BuzzFeed.

“I’ve lived in this world for 45 years where you get things and people make allegations,” Woodward said. “That is a garbage document. It never should have been presented as part of an intelligence briefing … Trump’s right to be upset about that.”

He said there were other channels where the information could have been shared with Trump, including allowing White House counsel to provide the dossier to Trump’s incoming team.

Woodward even said he thought the intelligence chiefs made a mistake and should apologize, a sentiment Trump echoed upon watching what he said:

Mainstream media and liberals are attacking Trump as if the garbage dossier contained truth. Obama and his intelligence puppets have allowed an air of validity to surround the information they never should have released.

Trump is right to call out the powers that be, and Woodward’s assessment validates his claim of unfair treatment.
