Any time mainstream media is challenged for false narratives, it can’t handle the confrontation.
The weakness and lack of integrity of mainstream media was exposed again when one of its prolific fabricators faced off against the future chief of staff for the president.
Juvenile retorts dominated responses from the media host who couldn’t justify claims Russia intended to influence the US presidential election.
Sunday on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming chief of staff Reince Priebus got into a long, heated exchange with show moderator Chuck Todd over reports that the CIA has concluded Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election.
Watch it here:
After insisting the Republican National Committee headquarters was not hacked, Priebus said to a combative Todd, “I don’t know why you are so hot about this.”
“It’s not about me,” Todd shot back.
Todd couldn’t handle that his biased opinion wasn’t dominating the conversation. Priebus didn’t back down when Todd continued his verbal attack.
“Do you believe – let’s clear this up. do you believe – does the president-elect believe that Russia was trying to muddy up and get involved in the election in 2016?” Todd barked.
“Number one, you don’t know it. I don’t know it,” Priebus said. “There’s been no conclusive or specific report to say otherwise.”
Todd attempted to pull one piece of a lengthy story to damage credibility of Priebus and President-elect Donald Trump.
“Do you dispute 17 intelligence agencies that have assessed that Russia agents were behind this?” Todd asked. “You dispute this?”
Priebus gave no ground to the unfounded claim based on “secret” information and speculation.
“Chuck, this is insane,” Priebus said. “In the same article about the 17 agencies, it said it was inconclusive.”
Todd is one of the saddest examples of radical, left-wing members of mainstream media bent on destroying Trump.
Anything that can be remotely stated as demeaning to Trump or his associates is overplayed by leftists.
Todd should at least pretend to be a balanced journalist and stick to the facts.
Years of rants from his world have dumbed-down progressive narratives, and people concerned with making a living in this country don’t want to listen to such nonsense.
