It seems that since the day Donald Trump won the presidency in November, Democrats have been in denial. They protested, they cried, they argued and they vowed to obstruct Trump at every turn. The mainstream media gladly jumped aboard this bandwagon looking to highlight negativity toward Trump wherever they could find it.
Most recently, the mainstream media swiftly reported leaked comments made during private conversations between Trump and the leaders of Mexico and Australia.
Trump’s former campaign manager and current senior counselor Kellyanne Conway appeared on Fox & Friends on Thursday to discuss the issue. Conway criticized the media noting that such comments will be “mischaracterized by the media.”
She asserted that the media demonstrate a clear preference towards mischaracterizing Trump than reporting on other key executive activists including “Trump’s visit to honor a fallen Navy SEAL, his remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast or the swearing-in of the new Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.” Conway argued that the media treat Trump with “presumptive negativity.”
“The Democratic Party…we’re seeing it unravel in front of our eyes and we’re seeing it be revealed in front of our eyes,” Conway said. “A bunch of crybabies who say they’re going to oppose Supreme Court nominees before they even know the person’s name and academic credentials and impeccable judicial record.”
Conway was referring to vows made by several prominent Democrats to filibuster any Supreme Court nominee even before President Trump nominated anyone.

Conway was also critical of Democrats for stalling cabinet confirmation hearings noting that “this is the longest in modern times the nation has gone without a Secretary of the Treasury.”
“This obstinance and obstruction is the modern Democratic Party, and I think it’s going to cost them because they’re hysterical about everything now,” Conway said. “Everything makes them cry and scream.”
