Despite positioning themselves as edgy and enlightened, most Hollywood movers and shakers support the worn-out Big Government status quo agenda of the Democrats and Hillary Clinton. While living in gated communities and protected by bodyguards, they perfectly fit the description of limousine liberals (champagne socialists in the UK) who have insulated themselves from the policies they promote.
Some stars whose personal lives are depraved shambles have even leveled criticism at Donald Trump for his misbehavior.
Academy Award winner Jon Voight is aboard the Trump Train, however. At 77, Voight is far enough along in his career that his standing in the entertainment community won’t be affected by his vocal support for the Republican presidential nominee, unlike younger actors and producers who risk liberal retaliation in Hollywood. An Oscar winner for his role in “Coming Home,” Voight currently stars in the hit Showtime series “Ray Donovan” as Mickey Donovan, the title character’s father.
Voight just released a video in support of Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy called a “plea to save America.”
In addition to slamming billionaire leftist George Soros and actor Robert De Niro, Voight has a sobering message about a potential Hillary Clinton administration:
…Thousands of refugees will flood our nation, and no one will know the good guys from the bad guys. It will kill our economy, which is at an all-time low now under the years of Obama’s presidency. And Hillary boasts of how proud she will be to continue Obama’s legacy…With Hillary as president, we will lose our Second Amendment right to bear arms. Freedom of religion will be attacked, and Hillary will try to stop all conservative voices on TV and radio. Our highest court will become socialist, and she will restrict what America was founded on, our freedom to become a small business owner and pursue our own personal dreams…The pendulum of freedom is not balanced. Hillary and her followers are on a crude campaign to stop and degrade all of Trump’s followers…
Voight’s oration about what he describes as the most important election in American history concludes with the following: “May God protect the real truth, and may Donald Trump win this presidency. He will save our America, and he will certainly make it great again.”
In the run-up to the March 2015 Israeli elections, Jon Voight cut a video in support of incumbent Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (as separately did Chuck Norris). At the time, Voight accused Barack Obama of not loving Israel and being more cozy with the Jewish state’s enemies.
Netanyahu was reelected amidst allegations that Obama operatives were on the ground there trying to unseat “Bibi” and replace him the leftist candidate, who pollsters claimed had the edge going into the voting.
