Democrats are warning fellow liberals that all the fighting against the presidential election results stands to ruin the party.
It’s a warning most conservatives hope Democrats are foolish enough to ignore.
One media pundit called Democrats hypocrites Sunday before the Electoral College vote. Democrats have threatened violence against electors charged with voting for President-elect Donald Trump. Liberals refuse to accept election results dominated by Republicans.
Liberal political analyst Juan Williams said Democrats now pushing for electors to vote against Trump “run the risk of looking like hypocrites.”
Williams called out Democrats over the weekend on “Fox News Sunday.” Moderator Chris Wallace asked why Democrats made such an uproar during the campaign about Trump questioning the integrity of the election process.
Now that Trump has won, Wallace said, Democrats are doing the same thing, and taking it to a more violent level.
“There’s no question Democrats run the risk of looking like hypocrites given what happened at that expertly moderated debate in October,” Williams said. “But in fairness, you know, at the time what was on the table was the idea of voter fraud, and it was being pushed by Republicans and Trump. There’s so much voter fraud in the country that the race could be tossed to Hillary Clinton and legitimately he could win the popular vote and be denied. That’s what he was responding to.”
Williams then pivoted to the current false narrative of Democrats that Russia caused Clinton to lose.
“Now we’re dealing with something else, which is about Russian interference in the Democratic process and tilting the election and news coverage against Hillary Clinton a for Donald Trump,” Williams said.
He couldn’t stop there, citing the nation’s founding fathers as reason to challenge Trump.
“So, when we come to the electoral college now, you got to remember the Founding Fathers – I just finished a book about the Founding Fathers. They did not design the electoral college to be a rubber stamp. To the contrary, they think the electors should have the capacity to exercise some discretion. Do I think that something is going to – a coup is going to occur tomorrow? Absolutely not. But it’s not the case to say it de-legitimizes Donald Trump for people to ask questions.”
What Williams and his liberal cohorts in the Democratic party refuse to realize is that a legal coup has already occurred.
Everyday, hard-working Americans have spoken loudly through the legal US election process to put down the liberal ideology plaguing the country. They want change, they followed the law and they successfully fought all opposition to secure a presidential election win.
Those same Americans are now forced to fight another civil battle defending themselves against the violence of the Democrats. It’s one thing to question opposing views, it’s another when people face violence from Democrats that threatens all the founding fathers sought to protect.
Right is might, and will secure the election process moving forward.
