CNN Host Makes ABSURD Statement, Gets IMMEDIATELY Torched!

Mainstream media is misleading viewers about the presidential election almost daily, and one CNN host has been caught lying about leaked emails that are damaging to the Democratic presidential nominee.

CNN’s supposed legal expert lied to viewers in an attempt to scare them away from reading thousands of emails leaked by WikiLeaks. The more than 12,000 emails released to date have exposed Hillary Clinton as a liar, crook and rapist apologist. It’s expected WikiLeaks has more than 50,000 emails total to release.

The public has a right to know all about Clinton’s lies and deceit, despite CNN attempts to shield two-faced Hillary.

As reported in The Daily Caller:

CNN’s Chris Cuomo told viewers it is illegal for them to possess emails leaked by the website WikiLeaks, and as a result they could not read them and had to rely entirely on the media to learn about their content.

Cuomo’s comments were made early Wednesday morning, but they attracted no attention until a clip was uploaded to YouTube Sunday morning.

Cuomo’s statements are clearly an effort by him and the network to dumb-down viewers to keep them from pursuing truth of Clinton’s wicked ways.

In the clip, Cuomo opens a segment on leaked emails from Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s inbox by warning viewers they have to get all their information about the emails from the media, and nowhere else. If they try to check out the emails themselves, Cuomo warns, they’re breaking the law.

“Also interesting is, remember, it’s illegal to possess these stolen documents,” Cuomo says. “It’s different for the media, so everything you’re learning about this, you’re learning from us.”

Cuomo’s back-street legal opinion doesn’t hold water.

Cuomo’s claim is faulty on a few counts. While the government might potentially prosecute somebody purely for the act of downloading stolen documents, legal experts are divided on whether such a prosecution would be constitutional. Even if downloading the emails were illegal, that is totally irrelevant in this case, because nobody has to download the WikiLeaks emails in order to read them. They’re all freely available to read on a website anybody can access.

Whatever the legal status of downloading the emails, there is absolutely no restriction on simply reading them, despite what Cuomo implies.

This isn’t the first time Cuomo has bastardized legal truth to promote his leftist CNN (also known in some circles as “Clinton’s News Ninnies”) message to dumb-down voters. He also screwed up on constitutional free speech.

Cuomo was challenged on Twitter regarding hate speech status under the Constitution, and he said hate speech was excluded from protection.

As reported last year in The Daily Caller:

Cuomo is entirely wrong. First, there is nothing in the text of the Constitution that says hate speech is not protected. The text of the First Amendment simply reads “Congress shall make no law… abridging the freedom of speech.” Any restrictions on that right stem from case law, not the text.

In any case, the Supreme Court has ruled over, and over, and over again that hate speech is protected speech. But Cuomo doubled down, by childishly tweeting over and over again the word “Chaplinsky.”

The CNN lackey was referring to a legal case that proved him more wrong than ever.

Cuomo has for years abused his legal training to twist legal precedence and the Constitution to fit his liberal left bent on America. He’s been given an open forum on CNN, and cheered on by the lying network that is hell-bent on shielding Clinton at every turn.

Republican Donald Trump is truly fighting an election battle with enemies across the political aisle and throughout the country in the biased, defamatory media.

Cuomo should pursue a career chasing ambulances along back streets and leave the real legal questions to qualified experts who will help American voters see the truth. Reading leaked emails is a task all Americans need to make time to complete.

The truth within will offset the lies of mainstream media.
