Regardless of political party, everyone in America must agree that the nomination of Hillary Clinton was historic.
She will forever go down in the annals of history as the first woman to be nominated for president of the United States by a major political party.
One interesting international figure has spoken out about who he believes could become the first female president. His choice is surprising to many.
Politico Europe reported Wednesday that former leader of the United Kingdom’s Independence Party (UKIP) Nigel Farage believes another member of the Trump family, Ivanka Trump, could take that honor.
“Thirty-six, beautiful, utterly brilliant and given that we’ve had a Clinton dynasty and a Bush dynasty, she may well be the president of the US in 15-20 years’ time,” Farage said.
Ivanka Trump’s political aspirations are unknown, but her influence in her father’s campaign appears to have been significant so far.
The Daily Caller reported that “her childcare plan has become an integral part of Trump’s economic plan, and she has helped Trump’s transition team interview possible cabinet appointees.”
Farage is currently a member of the European Parliament and was a leader of the Brexit movement. He later resigned from the UKIP leadership position and campaigned for Donald Trump during the U.S. election where Trump and Farage appeared together at campaign events.
Farage continues to speak highly of the President-elect. After visiting with him in Trump Tower recently, Farage stressed that Trump “believes in America and he does have, despite his wealth, a genuine sympathy with those that have done badly for the past 10 or 20 years.”
