A Texas Electoral College voter is turning his back on the state and working with a liberal public relations firm to undermine the will of the people.
It’s a back-stabbing ploy liberals are trying to exploit to overturn the presidential election.
The “faithless elector” is upset over Twitter messages sent by President-elect Donald Trump criticizing a TV show that mocks Trump. He also stated Trump’s claim that millions of illegal votes were cast during the election forced his hand to silence the voice of Texas voters.
Texas elector Christopher Suprun revealed the last straw that lead him to publicly announce his decision not to cast his ballot for Trump, even though Trump was the clear choice of Texas voters in last month’s election.
In an interview with The Daily Caller, Suprun repeatedly cited Trump’s Twitter behavior as reasons for him to overrule Texas voters and cast his electoral vote for somebody else. Trump’s insulting of “Saturday Night Live” seemed to particularly bother the Republican elector.
But what finally pushed Suprun “over the edge,” he said, was something Vice President-elect Mike Pence said on Sunday – the day before Suprun announced his plan to vote for someone other than Trump in an op-ed for The New York Times.
“What probably really pushed me over the edge was Sunday on the talk shows when Mike Pence was repeating this line that there’s millions of illegal votes in the election and Donald Trump would have won the popular vote,” Suprun stated.
“I said look, Mr. Trump has already used that same line and attacked the foundations of the country through its elections. Now he’s co-opted Governor Pence to do the same and that’s where you have to draw the line.”
Suprun should have coordinated better with his liberal public relations firm before opening his mouth. It’s obvious he’s been coerced and coached in his answers.
That Suprun pinpointed Sunday as the day he changed his mind on Trump is noteworthy, as his Times op-ed ran less than a day later on Monday morning.
There is no way he could have listened to Sunday morning political conversations the day before. His op-ed piece would have already been submitted to the newspaper for editing and formatting to go into print before he had to “draw the line.”
Equally noteworthy is the fact that Suprun’s op-ed mentions neither Pence nor Trump’s claim that “millions” of illegal voters cost him the popular vote.
As reported by The Washington Free Beacon, Suprun is being represented by progressive “social justice” media relations firm Megaphone Strategies, which was founded by liberal CNN commentator Van Jones.
Van Jones is an outspoken hater of Trump and his “white-lash” supporters.
Liberal influence on Suprun appears evident following the election. In the days after Trump’s victory, Suprun made clear that, regardless of what people thought, he would be voting for Trump.
I'm voting Donald Trump and Mike Pence on December 19. The media continued to provide clickbait over an erroneous article. https://t.co/m0BAj59qCB

@DelusionalDon1 I am making a difference. I pray about it and am voting MY conscience with MY vote. I'm voting Donald Trump. It'll be okay.

Suprun is now dancing to a liberal tune with a public relations machine answering media queries for him.
Suprun is not sure who he’s voting for now that John Kasich has asked rogue electors not to cast their votes for him. What he does know is he’s not voting for Hillary Clinton. Suprun said he’s looking for someone who can “unite the party.”
Suprun said he’s received hundreds of letters from people trying to influence him one were or another but insists they were all unsuccessful. “Nobody got to me,” he said. “Trump got to me.”
This man is a turncoat against the people of Texas who voted by a majority for Trump as president. It is not Suprun’s place to silence the voice of the people and force his personal bias on others.
Suprun took an oath to uphold the will of the people of Texas and now he’s stabbing them in the back. He will be forever marked by Texans as dishonest and untrustworthy, and a surrogate of treasonous liberals.
